Chicagoland Company to Donate April Profits to Families of Service Men and Women
OurFootDoctor.com (http://www.OurFootDoctor.com), the leading provider of foot care products to consumers on the World Wide Web, will donate 5% of all its profits during the month of April to the families of the men and women serving our country overseas.
"Our service men and women overseas are working to keep us safe and secure. But when a reservist or national guardsman/woman is called to active duty, they give up their civilian jobs and salaries in order to serve their country. Many of their families will face financial insecurity in the months ahead, while they await the safe return of their loved ones," said Terry P. Kasdan, OurFootDoctor.com's CEO.
A portion of each sale OurFootDoctor.com makes in April will go directly to organizations that support the families of our service men and women. Customers can also choose to add a $1.00 pledge to each order they place; 100% of these pledges will also be donated.
"I don't believe enough attention is being given to the financial sacrifices that are being made by the families of our service men and women fighting for our freedom overseas," Kasdan said.
OurFootDoctor.com challenges other small and mid-sized businesses to also raise money for the cause. "If 1,000 businesses each donate as little as $1,000, over $1 million would be raised to support the families of our brave soldiers."
With customers in every U.S. state and more than 30 other countries around the world, OurFootDoctor.com hopes to make a substantial contribution to our troops' families in April. Organizations that wish to join OurFootDoctor.com and make similar opportunities available to their own customers are encouraged to e-mail info@OurFootDoctor.com.
