3D RESCUE of ARIZONA ANNOUNCES ITS FIRST DARE to DONATE DRIVE.

Phoenix, AZ August 20, 2004 -- Do you have clutter in your house? Are you wondering what to do with your old T.V.? Do you wish you could actually park your car in your garage but can't because of all the stuff that is taking up space? If so, then 3D Rescue of Arizona could be the answer! 3D will be holding a donation drive from now until the end of September for their annual community garage sale to be held in October.

Items donated will be picked up by 3D Rescue all around the valley. The proceeds from the garage sale will go towards 3D's medical fund. 3D Director Melissa Allen is organizing this donation drive. "Many people don't realize how many medical expenses rescue dogs can incur prior to adoption. When a Great Dane requires extensive vet care it can become quite expensive because of their size. "

Uno although a rottweiler and not a Dane Doberman or Doxie, was rescued from euthanasia at Animal Care and Control just last week. "I just couldn't pass this poor guy up; he was crying so much and had a badly injured eye." Allen stated. Uno went on to have surgery to remove the eye and repair the damage on his head and is now on the road to a better life. His vet care will exceed over $600 dollars. Allen added, "It is not just the big things that come up either. Each dog in rescue is vet checked, altered, vaccinated and microchipped."

For more information about donating items for the garage sale or if you are interested in fostering or volunteering, please contact Melissa Allen at 623-764-4732.
